FROM ENGLAND, TO CANADA, TO NEW YORK:
PARSONS, AND ALLIED FAMILIES

HENRY PARSONS AND THE PARSONS FAMILY

At this writing it is known that Henry Parsons, at the age of 19, as well as his brother William Parsons left England in 1872 and crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Canada. Henry's wife Frances Ellen was expecting their first child. Before they reached the shores of North America, Arthur Parsons was born. Both Parsons families would spend the next 7 years in Canada. Four more children would be born to Frances Ellen and soon after their fifth child they would head for the U.S.

Some time after March of 1880, Henry and William along with their growing families left for the United States. They settled in Warren County, New York.
